Through El Ryan for General Trading, we distribute home appliances and consumer electronics from brands like Samsung, Sony, Flo, and Elryan to thousands of points of sale across Iraq. Through our network of authorised and direct service centres in over 25 locations, we provide tens of thousands of customers with after-sales services each year.

Additionally, we are the exclusive distributor of Samsung HVAC products in Iraq. We are proud to have supplied and installed over 100,000 tons of HVAC systems in various applications including residential, commercial, healthcare, and hospitality sectors.

Company Timeline

1997

The company was founded to participate in the Iraqi Oil for Food program, supplying the Iraqi government with a wide range of items, mainly in the industrial sector.

2002

We supplied the Iraqi government with HVAC products, under the Oil for Food program, marking our entry into the air conditioning product segment.

2003

After the Iraq war, we started distributing air conditioning in the private sector, selling more than 20,000 units in our first year

2010

We sold 130,000 air conditioners in a single year.

2011

We launched ‘Elryan’ brand TVs, a high quality affordable TV product with 2 years free-replacement warranty, which would go on to become one of our most successful products.

2014

We became the official distributor of Samsung Electronics under Manahil El Ryan. We also launched Elryan.com as Iraq’s first ecommerce platform.

2019

We became the exclusive distributor of Sony Electronics in Iraq.

2020

We opened our new Baghdad showroom, featuring Sony’s flagship store.

2022

We were awarded more than 30,000 tons of HVAC contracts in a single year.

2023

We became the exclusive distributor of Flo Air Conditioning in Iraq.

2025

We became the exclusive distributor of Chigo and Airfel Air Conditioning in Iraq.

2026

We became the exclusive distributor of Philips TV in Iraq and the exclusive agent of TCL VRF Products Air Conditioning in Iraq.
